What's new from Pinoy Gadgetista?

Hi guys! It's been a while since I made a post and it has been quite a ride since. Adult life is now at full gear and work has taken center stage in my everyday life. I am still the gadget fanatic that I was years back but now, I included smart planning as part of my agenda when on the look out for new gadget purchase. LOL.

So what gadgets do I currently have in my arsenal you ask? I finally transitioned to an iPad Pro (12.9 inch, yep!) from my iPad Air 2. The big screen was worth the change though a lot of my friends are telling it looks unwieldly. I got it for a great deal (now if only Apple Pencil is cheap!). I still have my 2 year old iPhone 6 Plus from plan retention. I have also upgraded my Macbook Air to the new 12 inch Macbook. Funny how I wanted a bigger screen for my tablet and a smaller *and lighter* model for my laptop. Weight has become a big consideration for me since I travel a lot. I may put gadget purchases on hold for the mean since I am planning for *gasps* a new house! Yes, I am fully embracing the adult life. LOL.

I have been meaning to revive this site a couple of times but I always end up with drafts. I even did a full blog wipe *LOL* last time. I still read and watch gadgets reviews these days but it's more of the latter actually. I hope everyone's having a great start this 2017. I may be able to share more posts this year as I have a few travels lined up so I hope you get to see them.

Next Android x Blackberry Collaboration: Vienna

BlackBerry Vienna

Blackberry's doing a follow up on their Priv with a non-slider. These render seem to be very reminiscent of the Porsche model Blackberry released from years ago but on a vegan diet. I like what I am seeing here if this is to be released as the actual unit - form factor, keyboard design, screen size ratio and color options are all spot on. I hope Blackberry will not skimp on specs.

UPDATE: iPad Pro Pricing

Since Apple released the new iPad Pro last November 11 in the US, I immediately checked the pricing online and compared how much it will cost in our currency here in the Philippines. Luckily, the PH site of Apple already has the pricing available (but they cannot take orders yet). So pricing starts at P42,990 for the base WIFI model and can go as high as P57,990 for the 128GB LTE model.

What can you say about the price?

Who is excited for the new iPad Pro?

I am! According to rumors, Apple is set to release the new *slash* super-sized iPad today. Coincidentally, China is also set to have one of their biggest sale event today. I wonder when will the new iPad hit the Philippine shore. Are you getting one?
